SAMANTHA Lane

Director of Sales and Marketing for the S.E. Shires Company, Samantha Lane has established herself as a leader in the global musical products industry. Since joining the company in 2012, S.E. Shires Co. has grown into a versatile and dynamic brand that reaches professional and amateur brass musicians across the country and around the world. Her visionary perspective and initiative has helped elevate S.E. Shires Co. from a productive domestic manufacturer to an international standard-bearer of the highest quality brass instruments.

Samantha has worked with professional musicians all over the world, establishing herself and S.E. Shires Co. as one of the premiere agents in the world of professional brass playing. Additionally, Samantha is a frequent guest and presenter to students at institutions and festivals, further cultivating a rapidly growing brand and community. Samantha energized the Artist Program, created the S.E. Shires Rising Artist Program, serves as a mentor for New England Conservatory’s Entrepreneurial Musicianship Program, and is a board member of United Sound.

Samantha received her Masters of Music in Trumpet Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music and her Bachelor of Music from the University of Connecticut School of Music. When she isn’t working, Samantha loves spending time with her family, traveling, and gardening at her home in Rhode Island.
